ZED Bronze FAQ
Clear answers for MSME owners and operations leads.
What is ZED Bronze?
ZED Bronze is an entry-level pathway within the ZED framework intended to help MSMEs establish and demonstrate foundational quality, safety, and operational practices.
Does OINDC issue official ZED recognition?
No. OINDC provides consulting, gap assessment, evidence preparation, training, and mock review support. Official assessment and recognition are conducted via the designated government portal/authority.
Can a company start ZED Bronze without ISO certification?
Yes. ZED and ISO are independent pathways. An MSME does not need prior ISO certification to initiate ZED Bronze implementation.
Can ZED be integrated with 5S and Lean?
Absolutely. Workplace 5S, Kaizen, and Lean methods directly complement ZED parameters, improving both operational cleanliness and quality performance.
